Dirk Blocker is an American actor whose television career began in the 1970s. Born Dennis Dirk Blocker on July 31, 1957, he made his screen debut on Marcus Welby, M.D. in 1974 and later earned a regular role as Lieutenant Jerry Bragg on Baa Baa Black Sheep. He became widely recognized for playing Detective Michael Hitchcock on Brooklyn Nine-Nine from 2013 to 2021. Blocker is also the son of Bonanza actor Dan Blocker.
